Christian Survivor is a website ministry dedicated to bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world. This Good News in which I speak of are the teachings of the Messiah, the Christ, the Son of God.

My name is Jerry L. Beckett, Jr. and I am the administrator of this online ministry. I am also a Christian Survivor or some may say, "Born Again Christian."

As a Christian Survivor, I am devoted to serving God with all my heart and I have accepted Jesus Christ (God's Son) as my Savior. I have asked the Holy Spirit of the Lord to come live within me and to guide my life. I have accepted the fact that I am a sinner and the only way I can achieve perfection in my life is through Christ. I have been reborn into the Kingdom of God. My goal is to take on some of the same characteristics as Jesus Christ. I have survived Satan’s game. I strive to shine as a Christian and show confidence in my beliefs.

“To God’s church that was made holy by Christ Jesus and called to be God’s holy people in the city of Corinth and to people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” -1 Corinthians 1:2 The Word 

“The Lord is my light and my salvation. Who is there to fear? The Lord is my life’s fortress. Who is there to be afraid of?” -Psalms 27:1 The Word

I am devoted to spiritual values and obedient to God’s word. I believe in family and the power of unity.

“But the spiritual nature produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” -Galations 5:22-23 The Word

“If you love me, you will obey my commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another helper who will be with you forever. That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn’t see or know him, because he lives with you and will live in you.” -John 14:15-17 The Word

“But if you don’t want to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Even if you choose the gods your ancestors served on the other side of the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live, my family and I will still serve the Lord.” -Joshua 24:15 The Word

“There is one body and one spirit. In the same way you were called to share one hope. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over everything, through everything, and in everything.” -Ephesians 4:4-6 The Word

I try to promote peace through forgiveness, kindness, mercy and self-control. My honesty, patience and perseverance shines bright by way of my success.

“We were saved with this hope in mind. If we hope for something we already see, it’s not really hope. Who hopes for what can be seen? But if we hope for what we don’t see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” -Romans 8:24-25 The Word

I gain strength and fulfillment through my prayers, praise and worship of the almighty God. I overflow with courage and wisdom as a result of my faith.

“I serve God by spreading the Good News about his Son. God is my witness that I always mention you every time I pray. I ask that somehow God will now at last make it possible for me to visit you. I long to see you to share a spiritual blessing with you so that you will be strengthened.” -Romans 1:9-11 The Word

“If any of you are having trouble, pray. If you are happy, sing psalms. If you are sick, call for the church leaders. Have them pray for you and anoint you with olive oil in the name of the Lord. (Prayers offered in faith will save those who are sick, and the Lord will cure them.) If you have sinned, you will be forgiven. So admit your sins to each other, and pray for each other so that you will be healed.” -James 5:13-18 The Word

“Prayer’s offered by those who have God’s approval are effective. Elijah was human like us. Yet, when he prayed that it wouldn’t rain, no rain fell on the ground for three and a half years. Then he prayed again. It rained, and the ground produced crops.” -James 5:13-18 The Word

“Through Jesus we should always bring God a sacrifice of praise , that is, words that acknowledge him.” -Hebrews 13:15 The Word

“The disciples were devoted to the teachings of the apostles, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. A feeling of fear came over everyone as many amazing things and miraculous signs happened through the apostles. All the believers kept meeting together, and they shared everything with each other. From time to time, they sold their property and other possessions and distributed the money to anyone who needed it. The believers had a single purpose and went to the temple everyday. They were joyful and humble as they ate at each other’s homes and shared their food. At the same time, they praised God and the good will of all the people. Every day the Lord saved people, and they were added to the group.” -Acts 2:42-47 The Word

“If any of you needs wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask God, and he will give it to you. God is generous to everyone and doesn’t find fault with them.” -James 1:5 The Word

“‘I can guarantee this truth: A time is coming (and is now here) when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who respond to it will live.’” -John 5:25 The Word

I try to show grace, sympathy and sensitivity to everyone I come into contact with. Through faithful giving and repentance I show my praise and obedience to the Lord.

“God saved you through faith as an act of kindness. You had nothing to do with it. Being saved is a gift from God. It’s not the result of anything you’ve done, so no one can brag about it.” -Ephesians 2:8-9 The Word

“‘Of these three men, who do you think was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by robbers?’ The expert said, ‘The one who was kind enough to help him.’ Jesus told him, ‘Go and imitate his example!’” -Luke 10:36-37 The Word

“When Job’s three friends heard about all the terrible things that had happened to him, each of them came from his home-Eliphaz of Teman, Bildad of Shuah, Zophar of Naama. They had agreed they would go together to sympathize with Job and comfort him.” -Job 2:36 The Word

“After all, we will remain Christ’s partners only if we continue to hold on to our original confidence until the end.” -Hebrews 3:14 The Word

“‘Bring one-tenth of your income into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test me in this way, ‘says the Lord of Armies. ‘See if I won’t open the windows of Heaven for you and flood you with blessings.’” -Malachi 3:10 The Word

“Later, John the Baptizer appeared in the desert of Judea. His message was, ‘Turn to God and change the way you think and act, because the kingdom of Heaven is near.’ Isaiah the prophet spoke about this man when he said, ‘A voice cries out in the desert: ‘Prepare the way for the Lord! Who am I? A Christian Survivor, a Born Again Christian, a person who has hope. Hope in the fact that God is out there. He’s truly out there and he loves each and every person on the face of this planet. He loved this world and the people of this world so much that he sent his own Son to die for it.

“Brothers and sisters, I can’t consider myself a winner yet. This is what I do: I don’t look back, I lengthen my stride, and I run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God’s heavenly call offers in Jesus Christ.” -Philippians 3:13-14 The Word

We can all be survivors. All we have to do is make it through the doubt that we have in our heart. It’s a battle between good and evil. The evil doesn’t want us to survive this battle. It wants us to accept the fact that no matter what we do we’ll never be good enough. The evil wants us to die. It wants us to die without ever making it to the truth. Without out ever surviving the devil’s game.

Well, we have something that the devil doesn’t, we have love. The love we have inside us and the love God has for us. That’s what will help us survive this spiritual battle. That is what makes us Christian Survivors.

Love = Survival

“I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. We can’t be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces or powers in this world above or in the world below, or by anything else in creation.” -Romans 8:38-39 The Word
