Christian Survivor is a website ministry dedicated to bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world. This Good News in which I speak of are the teachings of the Messiah, the Christ, the Son of God.

My name is Jerry L. Beckett, Jr. and I am the administrator of this online ministry. I am also a Christian Survivor or some may say, "Born Again Christian."

As a Christian Survivor, I am devoted to serving God with all my heart and I have accepted Jesus Christ (God's Son) as my Savior. I have asked the Holy Spirit of the Lord to come live within me and to guide my life. I have accepted the fact that I am a sinner and the only way I can achieve perfection in my life is through Christ. I have been reborn into the Kingdom of God. My goal is to take on some of the same characteristics as Jesus Christ. I have survived Satan’s game. I strive to shine as a Christian and show confidence in my beliefs.

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: -1 Corinthians 1:2

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? -Psalms 27:1

I am devoted to spiritual values and obedient to God’s word. I believe in family and the power of unity.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. -Galations 5:22-23

If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. -John 14:15-17

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. -Joshua 24:15

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. -Ephesians 4:4-6

I try to promote peace through forgiveness, kindness, mercy and self-control. My honesty, patience and perseverance shines bright by way of my success.

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. -Psalm 34:14

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. -Isaiah 1:18

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. -Ephesians 4:32

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. -Galations 5:24 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. -Proverbs 11:3

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. -Romans 8:24-25

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. -Proverbs 16:3

I gain strength and fulfillment through my prayers, praise and worship of the almighty God. I overflow with courage and wisdom as a result of my faith.

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; -Romans 1:9-11

Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. -James 5:13-18

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. -Hebrews 13:15

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. -Acts 2:42-47

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. -James 1:5

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. -John 5:25

I try to show grace, sympathy and sensitivity to everyone I come into contact with. Through faithful giving and repentance I show my praise and obedience to the Lord.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. -Ephesians 2:8-9

Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. -Luke 10:36-37

Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. -Job 2:11

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; -Hebrews 3:14

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. -Malachi 3:10

In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. -Matthew 3:1-3

Who am I? A Christian Survivor, a Born Again Christian, a person who has hope. Hope in the fact that God is out there. He’s truly out there and he loves each and every person on the face of this planet. He loved this world and the people of this world so much that he sent his own Son to die for it.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 3:13-14

We can all be survivors. All we have to do is make it through the doubt that we have in our heart. It’s a battle between good and evil. The evil doesn’t want us to survive this battle. It wants us to accept the fact that no matter what we do we’ll never be good enough. The evil wants us to die. It wants us to die without ever making it to the truth. Without out ever surviving the devil’s game.Well, we have something that the devil doesn’t, we have love. The love we have inside us and the love God has for us. That’s what will help us survive this spiritual battle. That is what makes us Christian Survivors.

Love = Survival

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 8:38-39
